Explain the offer clearly and make the business easier to choose.
Built personally. Managed personally.
Websites built by someone who thinksbeyond the page.
I’m Patrick Woodhams, the developer behind Woodhams Web Design. I combine software, systems, data, and real operational experience to build websites that make businesses easier to understand, easier to work with, and easier to run.

Why this business exists
Small businesses deserve more than a polished page and a disappearing developer.
A website should not exist separately from the business it represents.
It should explain what the business does, help customers trust what they see, guide them toward the right next step, and connect with the systems and processes already operating behind the scenes.
That belief comes from working with real systems, data, operations, and business processes—not only from designing pages. I have seen how much friction poorly planned technology can create, and how useful it becomes when it is designed around the people actually using it.
Woodhams Web Design applies that thinking to small-business websites. The goal is not simply to make something attractive. The goal is to create a useful part of the business.
The experience behind the work
A developer shaped by systems, operations, and data.
My professional background is centered on understanding complicated processes, identifying where they break down, and using technology and data to make them work better.
That experience influences every website I build. I naturally look beyond layout and color into questions like how information is collected, where it goes, who needs it, what the customer expects, and what happens after someone clicks a button.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a master’s degree in Information Technology. More importantly, I apply that technical foundation to real business problems rather than treating technology as the goal by itself.
Software development, technical problem solving, and system design.
Enterprise systems, technology strategy, and applied IT.
Real workflows, data quality, process improvement, and support.
Technology selected and shaped around the actual need.
What working together should feel like
Clear, honest, and personally accountable.
Direct communication
I explain what I recommend, why I recommend it, and what decisions need to be made without hiding behind vague technical language.
No invented credibility
No fake reviews, inflated statistics, fictional case studies, or promises the project cannot honestly support.
Respect for what already works
Existing booking software, processes, and tools should not be replaced simply because a new website is being built.
Continued responsibility
The managed model means I remain involved after launch instead of handing over the website and disappearing.
“I want clients to know exactly who is responsible for their website.”
Not a handoff between departments.
Woodhams Web Design is intentionally personal. You are not passed from a salesperson to a project manager and then to an unknown developer.
I am involved in the conversation, planning, design direction, development, launch, and ongoing support. That creates a simpler relationship and clear accountability throughout the project.
A good fit
Built for businesses that want a real partner, not another login to manage.
- You want a custom website without managing the technical side yourself.
- Your current website does not clearly explain the business or guide customers.
- You need forms, booking, storage, or other functionality connected properly.
- You value direct access to the person responsible for the work.
- You only want the cheapest possible template placed online quickly.
- You want fake claims, fake reviews, or misleading marketing added to the site.
- You want a developer who disappears immediately after launch.
- You are not ready to discuss what the business and its customers actually need.
Start with the business
Tell me what you need the website to do.
You do not need to arrive with a complete technical plan. Start with the business, the customer, and the problem you are trying to solve.
